Description

We live in a spacious four bedroom, two storey house on a two acre smallholding in the Co Down countryside. We have five friendly ex battery hens, two turkeys who think they’re dogs, two guinea pigs, two kune kune piglets who also think they’re dogs and a gentle 10 year old lurcher who loves everyone and walks beautifully on the lead. We also have a polytunnel and vegetable garden.
Hens and guinea pigs need cleaned out every few days, piglets need fed three times a day (our neighbour can do it if you’re out for the day,) and the dog can be left outside for the day and is happy to potter about or go for any length of walk. Vegetables need watered if necessary and any eggs and ripe produce need eaten! You will need to bring a car as there is no public transport nearby.
