About
My name is Élodie. I am to be 36 early October 2025.
I currently live in the south of France, in a small village in the mountains, surrounded by forests and rivers.
I have lived my entire life in countrysides, except for 5 years of studies in a historic city.
I studied music since I was a child, in addition to theatre and great-arts when I grew up.
I have learned several instruments, singing, theory and music history, I was a music teacher for many years, and I am now a full time professional independent musician.
I grew up in a very unconventional family, that opened me to and had me become passionate with travelling, philosophy, spirituality, sailing, astronomy, self-knowledge, languages, art, reading and painting, photography, ancient history, archeology, architecture, interior design, new and healthier ways of educating, communicating, relating, living, being, trauma healing and modern transpersonal therapies…
My mom is a professional organic vegan catering cook, and my dad is a retired truck driver and shepherd.
I have traveled quite a little bit and lived abroad, since I was a child. My last long term experience was living in México in 2021 (2nd year of Covid) where I love almost the entire year through House and Pet Sitting opportunities.
I have also a long term experience with baby/child sitting, teacher, and living as an AuPair.
I am good with care. I am a tidy home and comfy interior absolute lover, and I consider my home a ”temple”, simply a space that I cherish and care for as sacred, precious, a safe space that holds my most important treasures, dreams, parts of me and my life.
In November this year (2025) I am about to bring to reality one of my deepest dream : I will be recording my debute album, which will then be released in February 2026.
And as it is a big year, almost at the same time this winter I will be stepping into another, and probably the biggest dream of my life : I wish to go live in Scotland.
For now since Brexit I am only allowed 3 months with a tourist visa, until I potentially find residency probably thanks to a working visa. In the meantime, my intention is to take advantage to the fullest of these 3 months, and my project is to find a house/pet-sitting opportunity that will provide me the gift of a first foot on Scottish grounds, from which I could : work on my writings and music while being in a comfy discrete safe space, and start meeting people and look for opportunities for spreading my music.
